1 in 4 Americans over 50 use social media
Twenty-five percent of Americans age 50 and older use social networking sites, according to a new report by AARP. Among this age group, Facebook dominated as the most popular social networking site, followed by MySpace, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Seventy-three percent of those on Facebook said they use the site as a way to keep in touch with family.
