12 effective guerrilla marketing stunts

Media_httpdldropboxcomu299598slippersjpg_ekrjlyjjjewidna

I really like these creative and aggressive marketing stunts gathered by WebUrbanist. Their appeal is its simplicity, flexibility, and spontaneity. Yes, it’s not simple to climb a building to paint an optical illusion mural. But, the folks behind these campaigns not only stepped out of the box, but they kicked it away and really used their noodles.

What are some of your favorite marketing stunts?

Charming and clever, but I think I could speak for a lot of people in agency-land when I say that stunts are actually pretty easy to invent for a bunch of obvious reasons. There is an abundance of open creative territory. They tend to be one-offs so you don't need to worry about endurance. The expectations for pay-off are usually low, not least b/c they are almost impossible to measure. What's hard of course is selling them in. So congrats to the hard-working managers and open-minded clients who sold and bought these great ideas.

Call me biased, but I still love our Flossie Man Vending Machine stunt http://www.flossie.com/man-vending-machine/

I really dig (no pun intended) the ceiling mural so much I included it in my latest list of Guerrilla Marketing and Ambient Advertising list.

Full list is here http://bit.ly/6KeF8W
