1957 murder mystery may be solved
In 1957, young Maria Ridulph went missing in her home town; months passed and her remains were found. The town was generally described as a family-oriented, safe place, so the killing came as a shock to everyone, even drawing the attention of Washington D.C. Police suspected a man named Jack Daniel McCullough, but his alibi cleared…until a recent twist in the investigation blew a whole in McCullough’s alibi. He claimed to have taken a train out of town, but an ex-girlfriend provided police with the unused train ticked. Once the ticket cropped up, police piled up evidence against McCullough, leading to an arrest.
