3D design with just hand gestures [video]
A new design tool lets people create 3D objects with their bare hands using a depth-sensing camera and advanced software algorithms that interpret hand movements.
“It allows people to express their ideas rapidly and quickly using hand motions alone,” says Karthik Ramani, professor of mechanical engineering at Purdue University.
