5 facts about college graduates

There’s lots of intense rumors floating around about today’s college graduates. Pew Research gets to the bottom of some of these rumors to see if they’re true. For example, do today’s college grads have a harder time finding jobs than past graduates? Yes, actually, they do. And not only do they have a harder time finding jobs, they also have a harder time finding jobs that typically require a BA, leaving many (about 44%) underemployed.

What might surprise many people is that only about 56% of students finish their degrees within six years. The best bet for finishing within four years is to go to a four-year private school. The worst bet is to start at a community college. See the rest at the full article.
