6th grader talks developing iPhone apps at TEDx [video]

Media_httpfarm7static_ptueo

The typical elementary school curriculum doesn’t include programming, so how can a kid interested in computers and technology learn how to build apps? Sixth grader Thomas Suarez taught himself using the iPhone software development kit and then launched an app club at his school to share what he learned with his peers.

Suarez discussed his passion for developing applications at a TEDx event in Manhattan Beach, California.

Resources for programmers, both young and old.
