8 great Gone with the Wind parodies [videos]

Does a film really gain the status of “classic” until it’s parodied? Well, before the age of the Internet, no, otherwise its bestowal on every film out of Hollywood would have already rendered the term meaningless. Since classic films aren’t to everyone’s taste, though, there’s a decent chance that more living people have seen one of these parodies of Gone with the Wind than the original film in its entirety (and let’s not even talk about reading the book), but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth watching again.
