99-year-old woman's 1st computer is an iPad

Who says modern gadgets are for the young? One customer in Oregon is enjoying hers, and she’s 99 years old.

Virginia Campbell, 99, of Lake Oswego, Oregon has been using her iPad to read and write poetry. It’s the first computer she’s ever owned. Because of the iPad’s ability to adjust the brightness of the page and to increase the font by simply tapping, Virginia has been able to enjoy her love of reading again, despite her glaucoma. To date, she’s used it to write 14 limericks. Good work, Virginia!

Wonderful that we acknowledge our elders as participants and contributors, so often we toss them aside, very grateful for our mentors and guides; we need to ask some questions http://Bit.Ly/AgingParents

This woman must be really blessed ... she looks very healthy and more like a 70yo than a 99yo.
