Addled by BPA, fish mate with wrong species
The chemical BPA appears to affect the mating choices of fish, leading to interspecies breeding, researchers report.
“Our research shows how the presence of these manmade chemicals leads to a greater likelihood of hybridization between species,” Jessica Ward of the University of Minnesota.
