Health experts find little benefit to sharply curtailing the consumption of salt
“‘As you go below the 2,300 mark, there is an absence of data in terms of benefit and there begin to be suggestions in subgroup populations about potential harms,” said Dr. Brian L. Strom, chairman of the committee and a professor of public health at the University of Pennsylvania. He explained that the possible harms included increased rates of heart attacks and an increased risk of death.”

And it got me as an advisor though I don’t remember if the founders pitched me with PowerPoint. I think they just described the business to me.

This is a picture of a SeeEye2Eye from Bodelin Technologies. It’s a periscope that puts people’s face near your webcam to that when you are looking in their eyes you are also looking directly at the camera.
Tried it tonight for a Skype conference. It works extremely well. It will work great for Hangouts too. More info about the product at the Bodelin website.
Thanks to +Scott Atwood for telling me about it.

Been so happy with these Enthrill cards. They enable me to “carry” lots of books to appearances. This picture shows one paperback vs one hundred cards.
Shipping paperbacks to speaking venues is a huge challenge–particularly outside the US. Now people can get an Enthrill card with a unique redemption code that they use to download a book.
You can sell the card using a Square credit-card reader and do business anywhere. You can also sell the cards in bulk to a conference organizer to provide to every attendee.
At the event, you can autograph the card. This isn’t as good as autographing a book, but it’s so much easier. Also, this a great way to give people who have bought your hardback or paperback a copy of the ebook version.
More information at Endpaper.
Disclosure: Enthrill gave this batch to me.
