Fans of fall know all too well how quickly the leaves turn from green to gone, but as quickly as time seems to pass, it takes some serious devotion to capture the moment in time lapse.
In case you’ve never been lucky enough to enjoy autumn in New York, Jamie Scott has given us the gift of seeing the magic again and again.
One of the most striking things about New York City is the fall colors and there’s no better place to view this then Central Park. I chose 15 locations in the park and revisited them 2 days a week for six months, recording all camera positions and lens information to create consistency in the images. All shots were taken just after sunrise.
The result – like the season – is simply stunning.
