  1. I'm sorry guy, this is an amazing photo, I've just got to borrow this pic. Please don't say anything if you don't mind I'm just all over the place with this one and I don't know what to say right now exactly, it may sound to funny to other people but I hope I'll be able to explain it with my best shot best foot forward try. Will keep the ole foot out of mouth in mind so as not to embarass. Donald Henson Author "Kawhocumdia"

  2. beautiful! just look at its colour and how it is built. The fear of spiders is unfortunate, but I have yet to hear of an attack on a person. In most cases they run from you. Even the black Widow, noted for its aggression will only attack if cornered or threatened.

  3. The paper is in PLOS ONE and the entire thing is free online. That is just one of about a dozen photo examples they give of spiders eating bats. The authors also mapped the areas of the world inhabited by bat eating spiders (quite widespread). Nephila, shown here, is one of the top bat catchers among spiders. And no, they do not have a bite dangerous to humans so don't worry yourselves on that front. [There is a link to the full paper off my stream right now for anyone curious]. Great stuff!
