Better weight loss with before-breakfast workouts
The New Year often ushers in resolutions to lose the holiday pounds and then some, so research out of Belgium should come as welcome tidings to future dieters.
When scientists had twenty-eight men consume a diet of fifty percent fat, then divided them into groups of non-exercisers, those who exercised after breakfast and those who exercised before, they were surprised to find that while those who broke a sweat after they broke the fast didn’t gain any weight, the ones who waited to chow down lost three pounds over six weeks.
While three pounds may not provide enough incentive to keep up those workouts after January for many, by bikini (or Speedo) season, your buns will thank you.

Again, I've seen this batted back and forth for a long time but in my own experiments I definitely trimmed down faster and was more energized the rest of the day when I worked out before eating anything.
