When thieves managed to lift the workshop’s heavy-duty electric cargo bike, a Mundo 500, Freedman launched a word-of-mouth campaign on foot and via social media to recover his property.
When the bike was located and positively identified, they realized it would require an angle grinder to free it. True to his commitment to promoting the use of bike power, though, Freedman and company hooked up two cycles to a Pedal Power Utility Box and used some good old-fashioned legwork to accomplish the task.
