Bill Nye passes out, and nothing but tweets

Given that Force = Mass x Acceleration, with how much force would Bill Nye the Science Guy hit a stage? Apparently not enough to rouse a crowd of USC students, who watched Nye faint during a presentation. Instead of helping, people tweeted the incident. “Nobody went to his aid at the very beginning when he first collapsed—that just perplexed me beyond reason,” USC Senior Alastair Fairbanks, who was at Nye’s presentation, tells the Los Angeles Times. “Instead, I saw students texting and updating their Twitter statuses. It was just all a very bizarre evening.”

Allow me to apologize on behalf of my alma mater. This is shameful.How sad that we have gotten to a point in our culture where it's more important to tweet about life than actually live it.

OK, but if it was so wrong that no one went to his aid, they all twittered, we now have a news story about him fainting, the students twittering and for all we know, he's dead and STILL laying on the stage. How is he??? LOL
