Squeals of excitement turned to perplexed faces of confusion at the St. Louis Zoo recently when officials decided to replace dead polar bears with electronic versions of the fierce, frigid beasts. Children visiting the zoo could be overheard saying, “Mommy, why are those mouth-less bears playing freeze tag?” Ok, that’s not documented, but it seems probable.
