The Chicago Tribune has written a love letter to Canada citing their poutine (fries with gravy and cheese curds, doncha know), the stable banking system and the lack of gun crime. And don’t forget Tim Horton’s double-doubles! The housing market never went bust, the health care system works for all, there is an abundance of energy resources and on a per-capita basis, Canadians are one of the wealthiest peoples in the world.
“We hope some of that good Canadian fortune rubs off on our city,” the editorial states.
