  13. Take China out of it . Next party lay out pigs in blankets with some good mustard . I betcha they are gone WELL before anything else . 
    Really don't know if I like the idea of a pizza that needs a knife & fork .

  17. Pizza Hut does some really interesting marketing to "local tastes." Case in point, Pizza Hut NZ offers Satay Chicken and Spicy Apricot Chicken pizzas. I'm totally envious that they aren't available here!

  50. yeah and the re-usage of oil from sewer plus the unlimited forms of poisonous industrial chemicals inventions used in "food" production in China too . Reason enough to visit China! YAY !

  59. At pizza hut in china, you have to have reservations, and you eat with a fork! One of the few places that has western utensils. I can't claim to have ever eaten at a Pizza Hut in china, but I have seen them in most cities and sometimes the lines of very well dressed people waiting to enter. It is like a date night thing for some!
    However, the love affair with the hotdog is not unique to Pizza Hut, there are many bakeries that have ornate hot dogs. I have a few here in links that I snapped before getting shooed away. They also really enjoy putting whole kernel corn, and seafood on pizza(scallops and baby shrimp were a common theme)!

    You really have no clue what you speak, so let's not continue to talk with such ignorance. That stuff you see at a "Chinese" restaurant in the US is not even chinese food, it is major adaptions to the US love of FRIED food taste buds. They are overall far more healthy than we are, and it shows in their fresh foods and lack of deep fried items that are eaten on a daily basis, even from street vendors.

    No, but I like to dispel myths and very incorrect statements. Many people don't realize what they think is 'chinese food' is far from what the chinese people actually eat. And for what it is worth what the chinese people actually eat on a regular basis if very very good. But items like this 'pizza' are just like many items here in the US, crazy hairbrained things that are not commonly eaten. Things like the bacon wrapped, cheese stuffed, jalapeno wrapped, sausage logs, people don't eat this daily here, it is a treat, an event item.
    However what is served at many 'chinese restaurants' in the  US, and other places, is about as far from the norm as is possible, and I haven't even seen them as 'treats' or event items in China in multiple trips.

  91. Rick, there are bad cooks throughout the world! Just because you think you had bad traditional once at a wedding doesn't make it all so. I've had some pretty bad stuff across the world but I don't make the assumption it is all that way. If everyone gauges american cuisine by Taco Bell and McDonalds we would be the laughingstock of the world.
