Citizens are better at picking endangered species
Citizens do a better job of selecting threatened species than the US Fish and Wildlife Service, says Emory University biologist Berry Brosi.
“You could compare it to the trend of crowdsourcing that the Internet has spawned,” he says. “It’s sort of like crowdsourcing what species need to be protected.”
