Peter Rauch clearly understands something I still don’t. He took a “proportional-integral-differential controller” to help a “modulating electrical power” to a “heating element” with an “A J-type thermocouple” on top that provides a “voltage signal.” In other words, in a stroke of brilliance, the man made his own do-it-yourself meat smoker that would send him a message when done.
