Pretty much anyone who didn’t grow up in an episode of “My Super Sweet 16” spent some time cruising around in an old eyesore of car, but can your beloved rust bucket beat out the ugliest of the ugliest? Business Week’s list of the Ugliest Cars of the Past 50 Years features some cringe-worthy models that made me look back lovingly at the stinky, rusty 1989 Mercury Topaz I cruised around in during college.

The list will undoubtedly make you appreciate your wheels and includes every ugly vehicle from the insect-looking Bond Bug to the bizarre Volkswagon Thing.

My friend had an El Camino (It's his favorite car, for reasons I can't fathom) the darned thing puts out more fumes than a coal factory, and he ended up having to sell it because it gets a little less than 7 MPG!
