Planning a space shuttle mission is no easy task, and neither is navigating the streets of L.A., but combining the two might just take more planning and preparation than anyone expected.
Marc Martin at the L.A. Times has collected an incredible series of pictures of the shuttle’s twenty-sixth mission through twelve miles of Los Angeles streets that includes the efforts of engineers and city workers desperately trying to make way for what may just be the most expensive vehicle to ever cruise them.
