Enormous tower made from books about Abe Lincoln
Given his impressive physical stature and tall standing amongst history’s great presidents, it seems fitting that Abraham Lincoln would have a tower of 34 feet worth of books stacked in his honor. (Doing the math, that’s about 5 Abes stacked up, give or take a stovepipe hat or two.)
The Ford's Theatre Center for Education and Leadership in Washington, D.C. recently erected a soaring tower of over 15,000 books about Lincoln that reach up to the museum’s third floor. The slew of tomes covering the 16th U.S. President symbolize the continued fascination and endless discussion about Lincoln, both as a man and a leader.
