Exposing the ghost mountains of Antarctica
New data is finally giving scientists a glimpse of a mountain range completely hidden beneath an Antarctic sheath of ice. Though the peaks were first discovered in the 50s, the mountains have continued to perplex scientists for decades. What do the mountains look like and where did they come from?
