Five ways to give perfectionism the boot

Perfectionism is sometimes a positive quality to possess, but more often than not it makes you feel inferior to others and disappointed with yourself. So, perfectionists, learn how to tackle that nasty habit and try to be comfortable with who you are, and what you have.

Step one is to compare yourself to others. I know what you’re thinking, but this is actually a necessary method to quit setting the bar so high. Look around you and notice all the people who are doing great without a rail thin body or a straight A average.

Step two is to use the ten year question. Next time you’re fretting something that isn’t going the way you hoped for, ask yourself if it is going to matter in ten years - or if you’ll even remember it in that amount of time. If the answer is no, relax!
