Florida DMV pranks driver
No one likes making that dreaded trip to the DMV, but one woman plans to brave the long lines and frustration to do all her driver dealings in person after a little incident with a mailed in license renewal.
Ashlee Lineberger of Englewood, Florida submitted the proper paperwork and $48 fee for a new license, but when she got the ID back in the mail, she noticed her address had changed. The DMV didn’t just mess up her the street name spelling or apartment number, some state-employed prankster moved her to “Eat Ass” avenue. Or Eat Ass street, whatever.
Needless to say, Ms. Lineberger didn’t find the new address amusing and marched down to the local DMV for answers. Instead, she got some giggles and an estimate for the price of a new license. State officials eventually stepped in and offered to issue the Eat Ass resident a new license free of charge.

why?
This was a piece of GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID that had been tampered with. It wasn't caught until arrival.
Sure, we all snicker at the new address, but how about if the name was changed? Birthdate? Any other pertinent details?
What this amounts to was somebody successfully altered details on Government ID. It wasn't caught until too late. This is a huge problem that needs to be addressed.
