Forget Burning Man, check out Burning Boat
Up Helly Aa is a fire festival in Lerwick, the capital of Scotland's Shetland Islands. It happens in January to mark the end of the Yule season. People dress up in Viking gear, haul a replica Viking longboat through town, and then burn it.

That is interesting that the Scots still have issues with the Vikings who conquered them 1000 years ago.
Scots have issues with lots of folks – that’s why they’ve been such feared soldiers for so many years (usually, alas, in other folks armies!
We still mention the Mongols in Romania.
