Fried beer coming soon to a paper plate near you

This story will either inspire a rousing rebel yell for the Lone Star State’s greatness or provide yet another reason for letting Texas leave the union. Fried food aficionados and carnie vendors everywhere are breathlessly (thanks to cardiovascular collapse) anticipating the official unveiling of Fried Beer on September 6 at the Big Tex Competition. Yes. They fried beer. Seriously. Takers will have to be carrying ID to partake in Mark Zabel’s most recent creation, and minors will have to settle for the fried lemonade. To the writers of Bud Light’s “Real American Hero” commercials, I’m waiting.
