Giant squid invade California waters

Massive Humboldt squid weighing up to sixty pounds have invaded the California waters off Newport Beach and are being caught by fisherman by the hundreds. The squid arrived last week, which is anything but normal for this time of year. Scientists believe rising sea temperatures and over-fishing of sharks (and other natural predators) are to blame for the unexpected visit.
