Could Google finally have a winner on its hands? After the embarrassing failures of Wave and Buzz, Google may have finally gotten social correct with Google+.
Paul Allen—Ancestry.com Paul, not Microsoft Paul—estimates that Google+ will soon hit an impressive milestone of 10 million users. Using a methodology that takes into account surname popularity, Allen guesstimates that Google+ currently has about 9.5 million users worldwide.
Google has yet to comment on Allen’s estimate, but it’s probably safe to say that the newest face on the social networking block is enjoying some pretty solid early growth.
