Before the days when Elmo ruled the roost, there was another particularly lovable monster who embodied that special mix of childhood innocence and fear who stole our hearts: Grover.

With Elmo’s reputation losing some of its luster, the little blue guy decided to take center stage once more by hopping on Sesame Street’s Twitter channel to serve up some nostalgic tweets those of a certain age will definitely recognize.
