Happy little lighted fungus

Once upon a time, when bell bottoms first bloomed and everyone was wondering what Love is…, mushroom decor was all the rage, but it’s been a while since the friendly, little fungus was welcomed on desktops unless it happened to find itself on a piece of pizza.

Japanese designer Yukio Takano, though, seems to think it’s time for a comeback.

Using LED lights and beautiful pieces of natural wood, they’re like happy little trees of the workplace, but for now, ones that don’t appear to be for sale.
