Finally, a financial market that’s doing well: 500% increase in public offerings so far. There’s one catch: it’s in Haradheere, Somalia. Pirates there have set up a kind of stock exchange to finance ship-hijacking. It started with fifteen “companies,” and now there are seventy-two. Ten have been successful so far.
