Good point, most people don't want to do too much navigating as we traditionally know it. A good mobile site focuses on the "meat" of your site and makes it front and center with one click. Leave everything else to the desktop version. Here's a turnkey service for restaurants to have a mobile site as well as a means to market it...http://www.insequent.com. Be interested if there are others for other verticals.
