GA goals are extremely powerful and one of the very first things I setup for any new client. 90% of the time the goals I setup are conversion goals.

what I find much more powerful are the funnel visualizations... then you can begin to refine a particular goal pathway and optimize the areas that are causing your conversion rate decreases.
