I know this is true, but I seem to find myself going back to drinking some Coke. In a family where diabetes is a hereditary factor, I should really hit myself on the head and stop drinking softdrinks.

Can we eradicate using plastic container that is use to contain food products and use glass instead? Also the use of plastic bags in the market add pollution in the environment and return to paper bags which is much safer and biodegradable. But how can we pressure the big companies to stop producing?

Another misinformation online... I could easily manufacture a same sort of info commercial with carrots or chocolate. It's not about the drink, but the dose.

I think a good start to cutting plastic use is for baggers to stop double bagging my milk! It comes with a handle for heavens sake.

V.T.D. and others on the packaging issues, the paper vs. plastic bags is a false choice (a misguided conversation). The better solution is to reuse rather than dispose. Use reusable hemp or canvas bags that you can take to the store over and over and over. The solution to plastic bottles is the same. Try filtered tap water in a reusable container, and the planet and your health will both be better off. No need to wait for big companies to stop producing. They'll get the message...
