How your interns should be spending their time
At least half of an intern’s time should be spent learning, and the rest applying that knowledge, says Heather Huhman, author of “Lies, Damned Lies and Internships.” She says that unpaid, full-time internships should be illegal, and companies should make mentoring and education their first priority with interns.
