this video is a great example of how Android, Blackberry, Windows, and any other smartphone manufacturer just doesn't get what Apple understands. people can talk features till they are blue in the face. The majority of people don't understand nor do they care about the technical details of a product. All that is left for Apple's competitor's to do is swear like a frustrated 12 year-old or go back to marketing school.

The truth hurts sometimes. The Apple fad is running out...very similar to AOL. I dont think the iPhone4 was enough to compete with Android 2.2, the new Blackberry OS6 or the new Windows Mobile 7. All of which are just now coming out.

If people don't care about features, then why does Steve Jobs talk for 2 hours about the iPhone's "features," in an event which is larger than the State of the Union address, prior to each iPhone's launch? Watch the keynote- it's all about "gyroscope" and "retina display" and "face time." When, in actuality, a gyroscope really does nothing for the phone that an accelerometer can't do. All it does is make you look foolish twirling around while you're playing a game. The "retina display" does not add any functionality to the device, at all. And "face time" is going to see more "down time" than anything else, because it's unusable unless both parties have an iPhone, and a wifi connection...and, I'm pretty sure the stars have to be aligned as well. Anyone with a lick of sense understands that quality features add functionality to a device. That is why the iPhone has been so popular from the start. It added many usable features that made it feel like we couldn't live without them before. The new features on the iPhone 4 don't do that. They are purely fluff. Regardless of what anyone's preference is, Android IS catching up to Apple. The reason being that there really isn't much else you can add to a device to make it cooler or more usable than what we have now. Because of this, people are starting to look at "customization" and "platform openness" to get their "tech fix." Apple DID sell a lot of iPhones a week ago. But what they didn't do is hurt Android's sales one bit.
