Is bionic vision in your future?

Forget Avatar, check out this incredible video detailing the possibilities of bionic vision! Scientists are working to perfect a contact lens filled with electronics to support features like night vision and zoom. According to developpers, the technology is possible, and very close to completion. Maybe that whole x-ray fantasy young boys develop will soon be a reality?

Would you like Google with that? If you add internet and Google with bionic vision, then you could see search results super imposed on your ordinary vision - some thing like 'augmented reality' Combine that with mind reading technology (proof:http://mohanarun.com/28-dec-2009/) - machine translates thoughts into speech, and home automation commands, you could think of a command and make things happen like a magician!
