Jeb Corliss survives scary wingsuit crash
Watching Jeb Corliss’ heart-stopping video series of wingsuit flights, the first question that comes to mind is often “what if he crashes?”. Sadly, that question got an answer today when news broke that the 35-year-old daredevil crashed during one of his famous stunts.
Corliss' initial step off from Table Mountain in South Africa occurred without incident, but he encountered trouble when a gust of wind blew him off course. A witness said Corliss hit the mountain side twice before tumbling to the ground and breaking both his legs.
Hospital officials disclosed that Corliss arrived for treatment in “good spirits.” A hospital spokeswoman asked Corliss if she could release information about his condition to the press, to which he reportedly responded with a smirk: “Tell them I feel the best I ever have.”
