John Oliver asks, “How is Ayn Rand still a thing?” [video]

Ayn Rand, famous for her unreadable novels Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, which author Max Barry described like this:

I felt like Ayn Rand cornered me at a party, and three minutes in I found my first objection to what she was saying, but she kept talking without interruption for ten more days.

She is also famous for “Objectivism,” or the philosophy based entirely on free-market capitalism. Here is the question: why is she still a thing?
