Journalists help save lives in Haiti

As chaos and looting brews in Haiti, Anderson Cooper snapped out of his journalistic duties today to save an injured young boy from a dangerous scene, as captured in the video above (more photos of the incident here). Cooper isn’t the only CNN reporter to jump into the fray. Just yesterday, medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta reportedly performed brain surgery on a 12-year-old Hatian girl on a U.S. military ship.
Debates over the role of a reporter aside, the overwhelming need in Haiti, as shown by the video, is certainly moving.
