Posted by / April 26, 2015

More cuteness.

it is not fair to teas the little kitten, she is hungry
you are big,she is so tiny,
stop,or you i think you dont deserve the litle one.

  • I’m sure this feline was just “kitten” about freaking out…

  • LORRI

It might be because the moron who is the owner isn’t feeding her often enough. A kitten needs feeding throughout the day…like a human baby. Once or twice isn’t going to do it. I hope the owner isn’t starving that kitten…a baby animal of any kind needs to be fed several times a day. And give them a HIGH QUALITY food.

  • Is this a feral kitten?

  • NA

Actually, by continuing to go after the kittens food they are reinforcing its territorial behavior but I believe they really don’t care until someone gets bitten or scratched.

  • Pat

    that is one scarey kitten!!

  • Please dont let cats eat out of a can !

  • bam

OHHH, so like my Scarlett at age 5 months!
Now at 17 years of age, I get the same grrrrr; only now it is if I ask her if she wants another bite…to finish her breakfast.
They are precious, and hilarious at the same time.

  • RubyWednesday

That’s actually not funny. Instead of laughing at her they need to work with her and get her over her being so guarded over her food.

  • We found a litter behind a wood pile, you needed thick leather gloves to get em’ out they were so mean…

  • You think that is funny? What if someone teases you when you are hungry? That kitty has a long road ahead, you are creating a monster, just wait and see.

  • rickysgirl

PLEASE don’t wash that baby. She can do it herself. A damp cloth is all you need should extra clean up be necessary.

  • K

They’re encouraging that kitten to be territorial & defensive. Won’t be so cute when she’s fully grown and scratching the heck out of them.

  • I wouldn’t like to be bothered while I eat either. The kitten needed time to chew. It was obvious she found the food a bit tough. The owner should back off a little!

  • babette

Bless her tiny little kitten heart. She must have been homeless and starving before they got her .. poor tiny little thing.

  • babette

I agree, it is not funny, it is sad , she is so small and so protective of her food. Poor tiny little thing.

  • Susan Callihan

Food aggression is NOT a good thing. The people here are MORONS. They should check with their vet about how to curb it NOW. When he’s an adult cat they’ll want to get rid of him because the issue will be that much worse.

  • Char Bransky

Shame some people don’t seem to know the difference between a toy animal and a real one. I predict the little kitten will probably be on the street soon enough. Her “owners” are obviously clueless and the novelty will wear off. That’s if the kitten survives in their “loving” care. SMH.

  • Ariel Gibson

Let that kitten eat in peace.

  • Rachel Emmons

Shame on you!!! Let the baby eat in peace!

  • My godness let the cat eat in peace! We get it. No need to keep poking at the little one. The cat isn’t trying to be cute, but is in all seriousness wanting to eat in peace without disturbance. You may have seen this on discovery channel when lions fight for their food and defend it. Well yah’, that’s what you’re seeing. Freaking people..thinking everything is all for their pleasure.

  • Dorothy

How cute and funny! i can’t wait until Jelly Bean(light calico) has her babies, very soon!

  • Skye

For starters why don’t you feed the kitten quality kitten food and then put the full plate on the floor? Why on earth are you teasing her? Instead of treating the full grown cat like an afterthought how about feeding that cat Adult cat food on the counter and putting it in a plate instead of giving her the can which can cause her to cut her mouth and tongue. Do not bathe the kitten, she can bathe herself or the adult cat can bathe her. You two need to grown up, Stop teasing the kitten, treat the adult cat like she matters and leave the cats alone when they eat since you can’t manage to keep you hands to yourself. You are terrible pet parents from what I see in the video.

  • I did this to my dog and he bit the shet out of me!

  • linda boyce

skye took the words right out of my mouth

  • linda boyce

and that’s too much food for a baby

  • roscoe d. dogg

I drive a tow truck and eat my lunch on the road so some times there are left overs in the cab—as soon as I open the door when I get home my big old tom crawles under my legs in search of a treat–one time I had a toco bell boreto on the and the old boy made off with the rest—-my loss his gain—also I by my terrier squicky toys at the store as he loves them–uasually kills the noise maker in a few min but if he still has it at bed time good luck getting it from him–the way he carries on you would think he was a BIG dog not a 11 pound dog—

  • Cats are great pets;
    they are all different.

  • I don’t get why this is treated like a novelty since most young kittens do this anyway, moreso when there are multiple cats or other animals in the house. Contrary to opinions in the comments this is not an issue at this stage of life, but a natural reaction. Food defensiveness/aggression actually starts with things like this video shows, dumb owners fooling around with an eating animal, or another animal being present/too close to the food. As a side note, truly feral cats rarely display this type of behavior, since they gravitate toward living in large packs as opposed to the more solitary cast-off housecats, who DO tend to guard their food.

  • john bartholomew

    What douchebags!

  • Ferial

Infuriating ! They’re feeding the kitten way too much in volume and way too infrequently, A kitten needs several small meals throughout the day. This poor little guy is acting starving because s/he IS starving. Shame on them.

  • CarmenO

Those two idiots had to disable comments on YouTube. I “wonder” why.

  • ghettosamurai

Wa-ay too much food for a kitten. Morons think a kitten is going to know when to stop? Kittens need to be fed, depending on age, 5-7 times a day. You keep the volume down, but the frequency up. How do people not get this? Does a human baby eat twice a day or more frequently with less volume?

  • everyone has a negative comment for the human guardians, but I think the kitten is new to its environment, and doesn’t know that this is home yet. He does not have the security of knowing that there will always be food for him, he is still in wild survival mode.

  • don’t see my comment, I’ll try again:
everyone here is so negative towards the human guardians, but I think the kitten is very new to its environment, doesn’t know that this is home, doesn’t know that food will always be avaiable, and doesn’t have the security that provides.

  • Gayla

animal cruelty, the poor thing is starving , otherwise she wouldn’t be acting like that

  • BowDowntoZod

That woman is an idiot! “She’s getting it all over my floor”. Sheesh! It’s a tile floor that can be wiped up with a 2 second swipe!

  • Leave the kitten alone you must be some very stupid people it isn’t funny to torment this poor animal!

  • Lynn

Poor thing probably is fighting off the bigger cats for food and these people should put this kitten in a separate area to eat and leave her alone to eat not keep putting food on the plate..

  • John

It’s really sad that so many people who are idiots, mean, and clueless own animals. Leave this kitten alone so it can eat instead of making it your joke.

  • rob

not funny – the kitten will grow to become a very dangerous cat that may end up homeless and unwanted due to the present owners stupidity

  • Another Linda

Hey headline writer — calico cats are females.

  • Animal Lover

These people obviously are not smart when dealing with animals. The sad truth is that this animal will end up either toss outside or dumped at a shelter after it bites a person. It’s a real shame. Hopefully, these people will be educated by these comments. I truly feel sorry for the animals.

  • Gina58

I’ve raised kittens since they were two weeks old. I’ve never seen that happen. 1) feed your kitten more often. 2) stop being a moron in teasing the kitten.

  • totallysiamese

I was saddened to see this. I feed 12 kittens at a time. Usually out of two bowls. I have never seen this type of aggression. Prepare the food on the counter, put the plate on the floor and then get the kitten. It truly is pathetic what some people find funny and I would say the kitten is smarter than they are.

  • Mim

Not the way to socialize a kitten. Leave it be to eat in peace.

  • Curtis

What a little cutie pie. Leave her be.

  • The owner(s) are ignorant to caring for innocent kittens and cats Leave the pet alone. Give it some space. Or it will never trust you or even a small child that is just watching and get attacked. You need to educated about domestic pets or you do not deserve one.

  • Kim

Not fair to annoy the kitten or you will teach it to be aggressive over food.

  • JK

YOU ARE NOT FEEDING THIS KITTEN ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try free-feeding with dry food. Leave food and water out 24/7, so she gets used to having food available. Give her MORE food, several times throughout the day. THIS IS NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!

  • Smart kitty. Bad parent. Read the comments and care for this sweet baby correctly.

  • Some people are just clueless about cats. These are a couple of those people.

  • These two idiots are going to have a problem down the road when this kitten turns into a cat

  • Jen

I don’t think it’s funny. Stop teasing her. You are only reinforcing the bad behavior.

  • Barbara

They think it is funny now, but wait til that kitten is grown and attacks you. Better do something to curb that anger now.

  • Poor little kitty. Let it get to be secure in the knowledge that this is not the only food available by putting out dry food and water around the clock. Then stop treating it’s feeding like it is a funny game…it isn’t. Food is survival to animals, and these owners are defying nature’s retribution one day…. like a large gash in the face from cute little tormented, teased kitty. Shame on the humans.

  • Food Aggressive pets are typically not adopted out so they have to build trust with her. They are finding it funny but they are really making light of something that would get a pet at a shelter put down. Be glad it wasn’t.

  • Deute

A cat DOES NOT gorge itself like this kitten is doing unless the food isn’t available when it’s hungry. When it eats like this it will eventually throw it up. These people may think this is funny but it is actually animal cruelty. A dish of clean water should be supplied 24/7 and it should be dumped and fresh water 2-3 times in the 24 hour span. A bowl of dry food should be available all the time. The older cat in the clip may be eating the kittens food when the adults aren’t around. This isn’t humor this is sad.

  • june

Maybe they are trying to reinforce interaction with humans and food . maybe it was the runt of the litter getting the least attention or no means of feeding from mama cat

  • Monique

Poor baby! I’d like to stand over these two while they’re trying to eat and push and poke them.

  • sherrie

kitten could be infested with worms, why it feels so ferociously hungry, needs to go to the vet.

  • Priscilla Wyndham

There really is not that much more to say. My first thought is shame……shame……shame. Although there are a few good points mentioned about what is normal kitty aggressive behavior, I would hope these two apparent owners will cease and desist their own behavior. Cute for 5 seconds…..the rest is pitiful.
