Dear Andy,
It has come to my attention through Apple legal that you have been using the Apple logo and other Apple trademarked symbols in your artwork. Normally I would have no problem with this except that I fear this will interfere with our brand identity. It will cause confusion in the marketplace, especially when we start selling modern artworks in the iArt section of our iTunes store. It also just makes our logo look tasteless.
We have cultivated our image of highbrow devices for the masses to work like a highly tuned musical instrument and your artwork puts that instrument out of tune. Therefore I am asking that you remove all current Apple themed artwork from display, cease any artwork with the Apple logo in progress and desist in future production. I'm sure you will understand all of this when you see how incredibly, amazing our iArt store is!
By the way, I've sent over a case of iPod Nanos with Leonard Nimoy's greatest hits to show that there are no hard feelings. Bokay?
Sincerely,
Steve
