Part of Toy Story’s charm was that each of us remembers back to the days when we were Andy and the world was our toy box, but for filmmakers Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta, the experience is especially fresh.
With the blessing of Pixar, a handful of toys, hands to control the toys and the 1995 film’s soundtrack, the two recreated the entire movie scene-for-scene using live-action sequences.
Though it took two years to complete, they came far under the $30 million budget required for the original film and are gaining plenty of Internet fame to boot.
