Living illumination to light any space

Nothing livens up a space quite like a plant, but there aren’t a lot of options when it happens to be a space without a window.

Emilia Lucht and Arne Sebrantke, who designed this clever, self-sufficient lamp light at Studio We Love Eames think they have the perfect solution.

According to the description at Behance:

It doesn’t require any human care like ventilation or irrigation. The plantlight makes use of the physical similarity between Led and sunlight. Thus, the plants can perform photosynthesis. The luminaire is an completely self-sustaining ecosystem where the plants can grow undisturbed for years.

Hey, anything we can’t kill sounds good to us.
