Man urinates in reservoir, city forced to drain 8M gallons of drinking water
Want to waste upwards of $36,000 of your city’s money? Just pee in one of its water reservoirs. Twenty-one-year-old Josh Seater did so in one of Portland, Oregon’s reservoirs after a night of drinking, which forced the city to drain 7.8 million gallons of water out of the system. While not especially harmful, the decision was made largely due to the “yuck” factor.
