Marilyn Monroe’s resolution list from 1955
In 1955, a 29-year-old Marilyn Monroe penciled a list of resolutions she hoped to achieve--a to-do list for life. Written at the height of her career, many of the items are work-related, including “never miss an actor’s studio class” and “work whenever possible.” The list ends on a personal motivation note: “try to enjoy myself when I can – I'll be miserable enough as it is.”
