We’ve all heard tear-jerking tales of animals that brave the field of battle, especially the four-legged best buds of humanity, but if DARPA has anything to say about it, the war dogs of the future will be capable of carrying a 400-pound load and be equipped with computer vision and GPS.
The incredible capabilities of the LS3 were revealed recently in a government video, handling the rough turf near Fort Pickett, Virginia and following the simple commands of its instructor.
And though it looks like it’s begging for a pug costume, it’s not exactly the kind of creature you want falling asleep on your leg at night.
