The Miss USA pageant might not be high on the geek must-see TV list, but this year, “self-described science geek” Alyssa Campanella took home the crown. No wonder she felt a bit geeky amidst all the hair, makeup and spray-tan sessions, though; she and Miss Massachusetts, Alida D’Angona, were the only contestants who believed in the theory of evolution.
